For the fat and hard to lose weight, do not rush to blame the diet and exercise program. Reflect on whether the emotional control is good. According to research, bad emotions hamper efforts to slim down.

All health experts must agree that portions of food, balanced nutrition and regular exercise are the key to losing weight. But psychologists argue, emotional factors also determine the success of these efforts.

A survey by the Consumer Reports National Research Center on 1,328 psychologists showed that. About 44 percent said understanding and the ability to manage behavior and emotions are essential in the effort to lose weight.

Of the many psychologists surveyed, 306 specifically provided counseling services to lose weight for clients. About 92 percent of them emphasize emotional issues related to weight loss efforts.

More than 70 percent said cognitive therapy is excellent or even very good to apply in weight loss strategies. Included are ways of controlling the mindset that can lead clients to unhealthy behavior.
